Description
A bighorn lamb tries to brush away those pesky mosquitoes. Lambs are born with a soft, woolly, light-colored coats and small hornbuds. Within a day, a lamb can walk and climb as well as its mother. A lamb will stay with its mother for the first year of its life. The one thing that stands out in this photo to me is the muscle development in the legs of this young animal. They are amazingly agile and quick to run and jump on rocky cliffs with ease.
